PEARL HARBOR (July 9, 2014) Sailors from the Honors and Ceremonial Guard unit at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam fire a rifle volley during the burial honors ceremony for Pearl Harbor survivor Motor Machinist's Mate 3rd Class Wesley E. Ford at the USS Utah Memorial on Ford Island.

PACIFIC OCEAN (July 8, 2014) An  amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) assigned to Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment, embarks the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) following small boat operations during the at-sea phase of exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014.

ARABIAN GULF (July 9, 2014) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter attached to the Dragon Whales of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 drops supplies on the flight deck of  the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) during a vertical replenishment.
