Forward Deployed Naval Forces Participate in Exercise Multi-Sail 14

Your U.S. Navy has Sailors operating forward around the world and around the clock.  Ships assigned as forward deployed naval forces in Japan participated in the annual exercise, Multi-Sail 14, led by Destroyer Squadron 15 March 21-26. This exercise offered participating ships training in the primary mission areas of surface, air, strike, and anti-submarine warfare. The multi-ship training environment brought our naval forces together in effort to keep our Navy always ready and always able to protect and defend America. Multi-Sail 2014 is an annual exercise in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility that supports security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
