Just in time for summer, Operation Live Well and Military OneSource are co-hosting a webinar to inform families and the broader military community about the Department of Defense’s new 5210 Healthy Military Children campaign and how they can get involved.
The webinar will take place Monday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
To sign up, visit the online registration page. Registration is first-come, first-served and is limited due to system capacity. Participants may submit questions in advance of the webinar by email.
The 5210 Healthy Military Children campaign aims to improve children’s health by encouraging them to adopt and maintain four daily healthy behaviors:
• 5 or more servings of fruit and vegetables
• 2 or fewer hours of screen time
• 1 or more hours of physical activity
• 0 sweetened beverages
Public Health Service Capt. Kimberly Elenberg, program manager for health promotion at the Defense Health Agency, will be the featured speaker at the webinar. In her current role, she leads efforts that support the overall health and wellness of the DoD community, including initiatives promoting tobacco-free living and weight management.
Please register for the webinar as soon as possible to ensure your seat.
