Army and Navy Having Fun with Spirit Spots

“Hooyah!” No, “Hooah!”

It’s that time of year again! The Army-Navy game is the official end to the regular season of college football. Some would probably argue this is the greatest college rivalry. It certainly is among the oldest. Originating in 1890, these teams have played each other 114 times. It’s one thing to have bragging rights over a rivalry, but it’s quite another to have bragging rights over your brothers and sisters-in-arms.

In years past, the two service academies would engage in the usual shenanigans like trying to steal the U.S. Naval Academy’s Goat or the U.S. Military Academy’s Mule. However, since the advent of social media the two services have gotten pretty creative by producing funny videos, aka spirit spots, taking jabs at each before the big game. To keep in step with the fun and to help get everyone hyped up for the big game this weekend, we have selected some spirit spots that we find pretty funny. Enjoy!

Who will win? Will the Midshipmen extend their current streak or will the Black Knights come through victorious?
