From the military services and around the DoD, here’s your SITREP for Thursday, November 9, 2017.
- U.S. soldiers conducted a mass casualty training exercise along with German, Greek and U.S. Navy medical personnel to improve interoperability and medical treatment procedures.
- The USS Ronald Reagan, USS Nimitz and USS Theodore Roosevelt strike groups will conduct a three-carrier strike force exercise in the Western Pacific in what the fleet commander calls a “rare opportunity.”
- The Marine Corps is equipping Marines with a new weapon, providing enhanced concealed carry capabilities at an accelerated rate and lower cost to the Corps.
- They patrol the seas and know their way around the kitchen, too. The Coast Guard has a Thanksgiving recipe you’ll want to bookmark.
