From the military services and around the DoD, here’s your SITREP for Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

    • Naval leaders from the United Kingdom, France and the United States signed an agreement designed to increase coordination for anti-submarine warfare activities of the three countries as they operate in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
    • While their typical mission is gathering weather data for the National Hurricane Center, the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron “Hurricane Hunters” spent a few days providing weather information for the Navy’s first Gulf of Mexico oceanography unmanned systems operational demonstration.
    • Personnel at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, a Defense Department biomedical facility in Silver Spring, Md., are researching and developing vaccines that can save military and civilian lives.
